Hold onto your horses as we know our newest Wagging Dog is going to set the comm lines afire. Everyone - say HALLOOO to Bandit McNibbles! This gorgeous 1 yr old McNab mix puppy has joined our rescue fam thanks to his foster mom who saved him from a seriously crappy fate. A string of irresponsible backyard breeders and empathy absent humans resulted in this poor pup leaving Mendocino where this breed originated - where he was born into an unwanted litter that the woman got rid of bcz she didn't have time or energy to find them homes - nor to obviously fix her other freaking dogs. From there he was brought to San Berdu where he was failed yet again. The owner in SB, along with the 'breeder' up north, didn't interact with the pup nor help to socialize him and thus, Bandit grew up almost feral. Then one day the guy in SB decided he'd had enough of Bandit so he put the dog on the other side of his fence one night hoping he'd run away. Thankfully Bandit's foster mom found out and went up immediately to save him. Now they've joined us so we can work together to find Bandit a perfect forever fam who deserves him! Bandit's foster mom has been working diligently to socialize this beautiful boy and show him what it's like to be a cherished indoor family member and not someone's trash. We're SO impressed with her work, and Bandit has come SO far!! He's around 50 lbs now and mostly at his adult size now but will continue to fill in for the next year. He's a stunning white furboy with a tricolor head, and as soon as he's neutered, he'll be officially available for adoption!
