About Sophia

Sophia was a small puppy when she was rescued last year from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Irma devastated the area. Unfortunately her family decided to move and abandoned her again. Lucky for her the neighbors were willing to take her in and find her a place where she will have a chance to find the perfect home. Sophie is around a year old and believed to be a chi mixed with a terrier. She is around 15 pounds with long legs like a little dancer. She is very sweet and submissive. She needs a home with another active dog to play with and keep her out of trouble. She loves to wrestle with other small dogs and enjoys when big dogs give her kisses even going as fa4 as seeking out their attention. Sophia knows how to use a doggie door and loves to go outside to play and run around even on her own or if she needs to go to the bathroom. Sophia loves to sleep in the bed with you and cuddle. If you are petting her and stop she will place her paw on your hand letting you know she wants some more attention. She is initially scared of new people but warms up. She is a very sweet little girl who is looking for her forever family. She is spayed, microchipped, utd on shots, heartworm asand flea prevention.If interested in Sophia please contact the rescue for an application.
