About Ming

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hey everyone, my name is 'Ming'. I'm as friendly as they come. Ask about taking me for a walk and see how cool I am. I love my walks. I may be still young, but I'm not that hyper dog, I'm pretty chilled out! I like lots of attention (in between naps), belly rubs, and easy to walk. My foster says I'm also observant to my surroundings and curious about everything. I love my squeaky chew toys too. I'm practically potty-trained right now, and I can sleep all night (and hold myself) without being in a crate. At night I sleep next to my foster to stay warm. I understand what 'No' means, but 'Sit' is work in progress. Also, I started learning 'fetch' too. After only our first walk I could find my way to the house without help, and I figured out how to go up and down stairs too. I'm pretty smart. I really like this living in a house thing - its so wonderful! Come visit me, lets take a walk and get to know each other, I just know you'll love me! I'll be your best cuddle-friend ever! Ming is a Female Shar-Pei / Black Mouth Cur Mix that we estimate to be born around 1/1/2018 and currently weighs 32 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
