About Sampson

Sampson: 5 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 10', 12 lb. Fully vetted. Sampson is a truly gorgeous purebred black and tan Minpin with impressive looks and an over-the-top 'super-pin' personality. This little guy is our drama king - when he is excited, he is super excited; when he does the Minpin spin, he is a whirling blur; when he is loving, he is all velcro; when we say SIT, he plops down so fast he raises dust bunnies; when he is interested, he is nosy and kinda in the way! No 'sad eyes' drama with this King of Toys, somewhere in life he learned to be defensive when threatened. Sampson came in resource-guarding and fearful, with trust issues that he has overcome in rescue. Respect, structure and non-stop, calm gentleness (no matter what!) have been the keys to his success. This little guy has a deep, entertaining character - he has blossomed into the Minpin he was meant to be, and can only go to an experienced adopter. He cannot be around children.
