14 year old very sweet pure bred Maine Coon. I got her at age 7, as a retired breeding mommy. I have the papers for her. My 5 year old son has tested positive for severe cat allergies after years of not knowing why he couldn't breath at night. We urgently need to rehome her. She is super sweet and gentle and great with my son, but I taught him to be kind and gentle with her. She wouldn't do well with a bunch of kids or kids that weren't gentle with her. She is very social, always wants to follow you everywhere. She does get eye boogers and nose boogers daily, so have to be comfortable with helping her clean them. She itches a lot and has done better on a prescription food, but may do okay with out it. She is very much a gentle giant - 17 pounds of cuddly love. She likes to sleep by your head at night and purr.
