This is one of the hardest decisions I have had to make in my life. We love Rogue very much, but she needs more than we can offer at this time. Rogue has been in our life for almost 6 years but we recently moved into an apartment building amd she is having a hard time adapting. My normally crate trained happy dog has become paranoid and is sufferinng from severe separation anxiety. She is currently on various medications to try and calm her but we are realizing that we may be doing more harm than good by trying to keep her. She has already injured herself, jumped out of our third story window, and is severely unhappy when she is left alone (crated or not). We need her to be in a home where there is always someone home to be with her. We are willing to pay for the surgery she has scheduled to fix her fractures paw and some medical costs, but in the mean time she needs to be somewhere safe and our home is no longer that place.
