Hello all this is a female boxer I picked up during a call for an 'aggressive pitbull' in the backyard of a residence. I am a Police Officer in Kern County and she is a sweet dog. She is free to a good home as I work 6 days a week and do not have time to give her the attention she needs. I believe she was neglected because she is very malnourished and often ducks her head down if you move your hand around her face; as if someone has beat her before. She seems to be good with women and children however barks alot with men around. She does NOT like cats. I took her to the vet because it appeared she has a small 'tumor' on her belly but the vet advised it was a cyst or swollen nipple. The vet believes she is 6 or 7 years old and said the cyst was not deadly to her. This good girl has been staying at my house for now I dont want to take her to the shelter because they WILL put her down however I'm not able to keep her. This sweet dog has a chip but it's not registered. I will give you the number to it if you would like to adopt her. She is a good little guard dog and knows sit, down and speak. She is still working on 'shake' but she will get it if someone is able to work with her. Loves being around me and playing in the water as I water the grass.
