About Cooper

Cooper is a 7 year old (DOB - 10/21/10)neutered male Aussie . He is a beautiful blue merle with one blue and one brown eye. He gets along with other dogs and has lived with cats, though he can be a pest with them. Unfortunately Cooper has been passed around too many times in his life. He lost his first home when his companion died and his owners felt they couldn't give him enough exercise. He then went to a home that was allergic to him. He is now being given up due to his feeling anxious with the very young child in the family. He will only be placed with children over 12. He knows come, sit, paw, lay down and loves to play fetch. His current owner reports that he hikes off leash and also walks well on a leash. He can be barky so would not be suitable for apartment living. He is currently living in Stockbridge, MA. He is on referral for Aussie Rescue who will put approved adopters in touch with the owners.
