About Jerry

Jerry is a very special boy! He was rescued from a shelter with 3 legs. He seems to have had 3 legs for awhile. One of his legs he has a partial stump above the knee so our rescue brought him to an orthopedic specialist that makes prosthetic's and they are designing Jerry his very own prosthetic! Right now he is fostered in Georgia where his orthopedic team is located near Atlanta. He is good with all dogs but naturally afraid of any dog that would growl or intimidate him as he is very submissive. He is great with people. We think he is a chow mix because he is only 27lbs so he might have some spitz or eskie in him. He is an absolute doll. He does chase cats however so no cats and he has not been around kids to our knowledge. He gets around just like any other dog you would never know he was missing part of a leg. This boy needs a special home where he can get lots of love and attention, he is SO deserving of! He is quite socialized as well and would make a great therapy dog for someone as well.
