About Alex

Alex is a handsome and timid, three-year-old, 58-pound, male, blue pit bull terrier looking for a loving guardian. Alex is living in a foster home where he is working with a trainer to help build his confidence. He is so shy that he has a hard time making it the whole way around the block without stopping. We think he was someone's yard dog because he doesn't seem to have experience with the outside world. Once he is comfortable, he can be quite affectionate with his foster family. He's been sitting at the Famous Fido Rescue since May of 2017 when he was found as a stray by a police officer. He is crate-trained and housebroken, very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm and fecal-tested.
