About Cooper

Cooper (SPECIAL NEEDS DOG): Cooper is looking for a human that is as special as he is. From birth, he was kept in a small carrier with his siblings in a yard filled with caged pit bulls. He was not socialized at all. Cooper is 6 months old and weighs only 13 pounds. He will be a smaller dog. His neuter surgery is scheduled for September 20 and he will be available soon after that. He is working on his house training. Cooper has come a long way in the 3 months he as been with his foster home. He is happy to come inside and gets excited to see his people but does not want to be petted or picked up yet. He will only be placed with someone experienced is working with under socialized dogs. Another dog would likely be helpful. He stays very close to his sister, Sophie.
