About Riveting Mr Rio

Hi, my name's Rio and my foster mom (Mare herself) is REAL PROUD of me cause she's says I'm SPECIAL!!! Not sure what that really is but hey, works for ME cause its sure gets me a LOT of extra treats and lovins, lol. I'm a 2 year old neutered male Boxer / Catahoula blend (WOO HOO !) who's a HAPPY, healthy, super SMART, and amazingly WELL-MANNERED young Gentleman now totally ready to find my very own furever home. I absolutely love to play (if someone initiates a game, pays to mind one's manners ya know) plus I'm spotlessly house and crate trained ~ AND I know my sit, wait, load up and give/release commands too ~ AND Ilove to go out and about, putting my head through the loop and walking NICELY on lead to go for another adventure! I'm a VERY LAID BACK kinda guy who loves to run and play outside with humans or dogs and am very well behaved indoors, settling in nicely at your feet so we can read, nap or watch movies. I also love long walks or hikes with my favorite human(s), or just about anything YOU care to do that lets us spend time together. Mare thinks I'd make the PERFECT companion and that's HIGH praise, indeed, coming from a woman known to be so selective about such things !!! I'm known to be GREAT with other dogs, especially my 'pet project' and BFF, Ms Ruby T, whom I help to keep busy as she brightens my days and playing with ALL my many friends in our indoor multi dog foster home so I'd make a wonderful addition to any family looking to add another member to their human pack. I'm a SWEETHEART who looooooves to please his people and is eager to learn new things. I'd really like to have a SPECIAL person(s) of my very own, one who'll fulfill my dream of having a pack leader who'll teach me new things and maybe even take me to classes where I can show off my many talents ~ I promise to shower YOU with love and a life time of solid devotion in return!
