Meet Roderick This boy is a big, thick hunk of a dog and quite the ham. He was brought into Downey Shelter a few months back and we have had our eye on this boy. Roderick was brought to a boarding/training facility where he was kept in horrible conditions with wounds on his elbows and legs. Despite this, Roderick is a survivor. He is loving, playful and just wants affection. He is a big boy weighing over 65 pounds. He was clearly someone's dog as he has the cropped ears. He gets along with new people, he is friendly and sweet. He likes to play and loves to sniff around his new surroundings. Roderick loves to play, he is frisky and affectionate. He will make such a great companion and best friend to everyone. Roderick is fine with mellow female dogs, but is dog selective and would do best as the only dog so he can get all of your love and attention. He is approximately 2-3 years old and is a Blue Nose American Staffordshire Terrier Mix. He is neutered and vaccinated. Please come on down and meet this boy or sign up to be his foster. Please visit: www.doggiebonez.com to fill out an application. We also have him on Instagram @doggie_bonez_inc_ for more up to date photos of Rod and all of our fur babies.
