About Mikie

Abandoned drug addict dog update: This dog still NEEDS a rescue/organization to join with. So here's the current situation he is being treated by a wonderful vet in Friendswood TX. An local animal advocacy group has done the kindest thing. They are paying for Mikie to stay there for 2 weeks. They are paying for his neuter and leg care while there. He has also been started on Doxy. to get him ready for heartworm treatment. I realize most rescues have no available fosters so I was thinking that if anyone had a smaller more size manageable dog currently in foster maybe they could take Mikie and the older lady could foster the smaller dog. The lady is totally up for this. Is this a workable option for anyone? PLEASE??? Mikie would be completely vetted so not a financial burden. He has been great with little dogs. Never had him around big dogs. The vet might know since he's staying there. They say he is so sweet. Please share or help. Lab/Sheppard Mix, 1.5 yrs., 53 pounds, current on vaccines, in process of being neutered, heartworm positive but started on Doxy., not microchipped, in Lake Jackson TX.
