About Shadow

Shadow is a 5 year old spayed Doberman/Hound mix. She is good with most other dogs but not so much with cats. Her owner's circumstances have changed and is looking for a better environment for Shadow. Shadow knows basic commands, will shake hands and is leash and crate trained. Shadow sleeps in bed with mom and loves to cuddle. She hasn't been trained to stay off beds or couches and does like to counter surf, if she sees the opportunity. Hmm�'�|..sounds like a typical Dobie behavior �'�| ;-) Shadow was trained as a service dog (PTSD and mobility) but the owner was attacked while out with Shadow and emotionally the dog has never been the same. Because of Shadow's anxiety, we recommend no young children. An ideal home would be a calm environment with a family that is willing to work with her fear issues.
