About Max

Poor Max has a sad story to tell. He had a beautiful White German Shepherd as a bonded brother, and they both lived in a home their entire lives. Then, for some reason their owner dumped them, and they ended up in Moreno Valley Shelter in SoCal, a rural shelter that doesn't get much traffic or networking. Max and his brother sat there for over a month with no interest and then their time ran out! We were contacted by White German Shepherd rescue, because they wanted to save his brother but didn't want to leave Max here behind. So it was a joint save, 2 rescues teaming up to save these brothers. Max here is good with other dogs, a mellow boy, loves a good car ride and a bed to sleep on, pretty good on a leash, and is working on getting housetrained at the ripe old age of 5. A solid family dog, Max is ready to go into his forever home. Poor guy!!
