Are you looking for an older gentleman to keep an eye on your property and your family? If so, I am your gentleman! I am a ten year old Chow mix and enjoy keeping an eye out for people that shouldn't be there and letting you know so you can scare them away for me. I still have enough energy to take long walks with you and because its rather rude I promise that I never ever pull on the leash! I am quiet and promise to stay out of the way when you need me too. Some people have said that I am stubborn. However, the person that comes and walks with me knows better. He says that there is nothing I will not do for a treat and I tend to agree with him. I have had problems finding a family that truly understands me for who I am. However, I think it was them not me as I have great manners, I do not like using the kennel where I am staying so I may be house broken, and enjoy a good scratch as much as anyone! I think your living room floor would be a wonderful place for me to sleep and during the day I can practice my security dog skills. Though I haven't shown issues with any, I should probably be in a home without kids, other dogs or cats.
