About Banjo

Bluetick Coonhound mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Sweet Banjo is a 2 year old Coonhound that weighs only around 48 pounds was taken by Animal Control Officers in TN as part of a cruelty case along with 9 other dogs. Regardless of Banjo's past life of chains and neglect, Banjo continues to be a lively, fun-spirited guy that is typical of most hounds. Banjo was a very vocal hound when chained/caged at his former neglectful home, but seems to do well now and is quieter when in a large fenced area instead. This guy was bought to hunt and chained up when not being used for that purpose. He ended up being on that chain for the majority of his life. Banjo has never known the love a family can give or the comfort of a home. Prior to being picked up by animal control officers, Banjo did not even know what it was like to get fresh water and food daily. Banjo is hoping his hero person or family is out there waiting for a great dog like him. He deserves to be a part of a loving family and to have a nice soft bed of his own and kind words and good food every day. Could you give that to our handsome Banjo?
