About Rowdy

My name is Rowdy. I am a 9 month old Australian Shepherd Mix. I am super friendly and super lovable with humans of all ages and I like cats too! Unfortunately, do to my lack of exposure, other pups scare me, more so when I am in a home. They scare me less when I am outside with all that space. I am looking for a loving home that has plenty of time and experience to work with me on my socialization. I do try to play with other dogs, but my lack of experience makes it very difficult. Sometimes I get really scared or anxious around other dogs I don't know and I will snap at them. Once I know them I will try to play and be friends. Besides that, I am housebroken, walk really well on leash, and just want to be your shadow. I really really want a forever home. My perfect home would be one where I am an only dog or with maybe one other dog that is very well socialized and can help me learn how to be around dogs. My perfect human friend will be willing to take me places and help me learn to be the wonderful amazing pup I want to be.
