Schultz is a 2 year old chihuahua who is looking for the perfect forever home. Schultz is one of 23 dogs who were recently rescue after being abandoned in a home. Arizona Small Dog Rescue has 11 of these dogs, one of whom is pregnant, and the other 12 were rescued by Lost Our Home rescue. All 11 dogs who came to AZSDR have been named after fallen officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Schultz is much more outgoing than many dogs are after being rescued from situations similar to his. Schultz is a bit shy, but loves affection and has so much of it give. Schultz will make a wonderful lap dog who loves nothing more than to be glued to his person's side. Schultz loves to play with other dogs, but is still learning what toys are. Right now he loves a sturdy, tasty chew treat and a fluffy blanket or pillow. Schultz will definitely need to go home with another dog in the home, as he is used to having constant canine companionship. He would love to take a friend from his former home with him and his new family, but is also more than happy to meet a new best friend. Schultz is likely not house broken and will need patience and training as he adjusts to a life with a little more structure. Schultz weighs 14 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, licensed and vet checked. His adoption fee is $220. His adoption includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for location on the weekends as we have off site adoption events some of our dogs attend.
