About Kahlua (Lou)

Looking to rehome our 2year old red siberian husky. Her name is kahlua but we call her Lou. She is fixed, micro chipped, and up to date on all her shots. She is great with older kids. She does jump and get over excited so I wouldn't recommend small children or babies. ABSOLUTELY NO SMALL ANIMALS SUCH AS CATS. We are having to rehome her because she killed our cat. She is not aggressive at all but after many attempts we can not break her of going after small animals. We hate to have to rehome her but we have a 5 year old who is now traumatized of her after she killed our other pet and I am 35 weeks pregnant and not willing to risk how she would react to a newborn baby considering its small animals she goes after. We never had a problem with the kids she has been around that have all been about 2+ in age. She loves them and she acts much like a nanny dog but without knowing how she is with a tiny baby and her killing the cat I just cant risk it. She is a husky and high energy. She requires alot of exercise, attention, and discipline. She needs a home that can provide that with a large yard that is fenced. (She is an escape artist!) She really is a good and loving dog. She loves other dogs and people. This hole situation has been very hard on our family, especially with it happening just weeks before the arrival of our daughter. We will be asking a rehoming fee of 250. We want what is best for our pup and to know that you are a good fit for her needs. (Note: in the pictures she has her winter coat. She is much less fluffy right now)
