Introducing our sweet Sally girl! This little survivor is a 10 year old poodle who weighs 5.8 pounds. This poor little thing was found as stray wandering the streets. You may have seen our previous Facebook post about her when she first came into our rescue and we are happy to report that she is doing MUCH better. She's been groomed and now looks like a different dog than the one we first saw. She was recently adopted but returned due to no fault of her own. Now that we know her a little better, her foster mom reports that she is doing well with puppy pad training and doesn't mind sleeping in a crate with an open door. Sally would prefer to go to a home with a fenced in yard so she can go outside to potty and not get lost because of her poor sight. She is microchipped, up to date with shots and heartworm negative. More than anything, this little girl wants to be close to her person. She does well with older dogs her size but any other dogs in the home needs to be as quiet and laid back as she is. Sally has not been tested with children or cats. We would prefer she go to a home with no boisterous or large dogs and no young children due to her having issues with sight. Our vet said that she is mostly blind, but she doesn't let it stop her doing anything. Once she maps out your home she does extremely well. We believe she can at least see shadows because she will even follow you around the house and sit on your lap. All this baby wants is to be lavished with attention, loved and have a place to call home for her golden years. Is your home the best one for her?
