About Winnie

Meet Winnie! She is beautiful, slender and all ears and legs. 2 yr old Shepard Mix. Winnie has had a rough start in life as she was running wild with other dogs and had to be live trapped to get her. She was petrified in the shelter of course, but has come a long way already. She went from 'leave me alone' to ' don't leave me alone' in her foster home. She wants to be in the same room with the family and with the other dogs. She is dog and cat friendly but prefers calm dogs while she is adjusting to her new way of life. She's a happy girl now and is looking for her forever family that will continue to train and show her that trusting her people is ok. She is very smart and will train quickly once she trusts you! She is working on leash training currently with her foster family!! If you want a constant companion, you're home most of the time and you love to train dogs and create a forever bond, Winnie is your girl.
