About Buddy and Jade

We are pleased to introduce you to Buddy (male) and Jade (female) as a courtesy to their rescuer, Monica. The owners of Buddy and Jade have passed away and Monica is hoping to find them a great new home. Buddy (age 7) is calm and well disciplined. Pretty independent but loves to be held and will give kisses. Jade is a little younger (5) and more active - but usually she just wants to snuggle. Once she is in your arms or lap she will sit for hours. She also loves to fetch the tennis ball! Jade hops up wanting to be held. I think she can jump 5 feet high! LOL. They are both crate and doggy door trained. They are really low maintenance but need someone who enjoys holding them and loving on them as they will give much more back. A warm loving home is desired for these sweet babies. They were a little skittish of my husband at first but now love him and run to him whenever they see him. I would think they may be the same with anyone they do not know but would warm up quickly with anyone who is kind and loving. They are fine being left alone and do not seem to have any anxiety issues. However, they seem to prefer being around people. Jade does not wander and goes with me without a leash...Buddy has not yet but he has a history of 'making the rounds' before coming home so I have not trusted him off of a leash.
