About T-REX

SAY HELLO TO T-REX! T-REX is a very handsome and most dapper little 10 week old Beagle/Chihuahua/Dachshund mix boy. His markings are beautiful .. a lttle caramel coated boy with adorable black mask. Weighing in at just 5 pounds, this little dynamo is so much fun! Look at those soulful eyes. Full of puppy energy and playfulness, no one is a stranger and everyone is an instant friend. T-Rex does well using his pee-pee pads, so he will need gentle guidance and patience as he learns the lessons of house training. He does not care for a crate but does just fine when he is in his open pen with his litter mates Tiny and Tank and snuggled with his bed and toys. T-Rex would thrive in a family with another gentle dog that is similar in size, age and playfulness as him. T-Rex rides well in the car but has not had any leash training as he is just 10 weeks of age. He will learn that as well from his new family. T-Rex has been with a foster family that has children, so we think he would very much enjoy some kids who will romp and play with him. Being he is just 5 pounds, a family with kids older than 8 who are able to understand and respect her delicate size would be considered. T-Rex was born into our rescue as his Mom was a pregnant stray surrendered to us. We are guessing that T-Rex will grow to be about 12 to 15 pounds. T-Rex is a shorter coated breed, so his grooming needs will be pretty basic : Regular brushing and baths as needed as well as professional nail trims and ear cleaning every 8-10 weeks. T-Rex's adoption fee is 250.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. T-Rex will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free puppy kibble that he has been eating. Her adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
