About Marigold

Hey friend, the name's Marigold and I came all the way from Pendleton County, WV to brighten your day! Just like the flower, I am sweet and bright and ready to find a place to flourish and grow. Even though I'm only nine months old, I'm already pretty much the ideal dog. I have youthful energy outside when I'm playing with other dogs, but I am able to switch to calm, inside mode when it's time to settle down with no problem. I am leash trained, house trained, and crate trained. Separation anxiety is not an issue for me because I know you are spending all day excited to come home and see me. I've done great with kids, dogs, and even cats! I am very affectionate with dogs and humans alike and I'm genuinely a loving, outgoing, friendly girl. If you are looking for a dog to brighten your day when you come home who has already knocked out all of her training with flying colors, you're looking for me, Marigold! If you come to the Waynesboro Petsmart on Saturdays between 10 AM and 1 PM and give me some head pats and nose scratches, I might even let you call me Goldie and take me home with you! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
