About Sammy

Sweet Sammy is a solid tank of love! This 16-month-old pit loves ear massages, cuddles, belly rubs, and foot rubs. His idea of a good time is playing outdoors, chasing (big) toys, walking to the park, and car rides. If you're anywhere near water, Sam will gladly show off his champion dog-paddling skills! Sammy came to us from Kansas, where he was the victim of breed-specific legislation. He's been with his foster family since the end of June. Sam is a great student- right now he's mastering the art of walking on a leash, not jumping, sit, shake, high five, and learning to take treats softly. Sam loves his eight-pound poodle roommate. He gets along well with other dogs, but would probably prefer to be the 'boss' in his home. This big lug has a lot of love to give! If interested inn Sam or for more info, contact us!
