About Lincoln

Adoption Fee: $150
Great Dane / Mastiff
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Lincoln was given to us at 4 weeks old. His mother was being aggressive and harming the pups. We nursed him to heath, had all shots and worming meds, and was neutered. At about 5 months he started getting aggressive and nipping at our children that he had grown up with and even slept in their floor next to their bed. We sent him away with a trainer for 10 days. In that time he nipped 3 more children that was visiting their own pets at tge training facility. It is the recommendation that he not be around children from the trainers. He seems to get really anxious with the constant change of noise and activity levels associated with children. He is house broken, leash trained, upto date on all age appropriate shots and is neutered. We would love to find an adult only home for him. I don't want to see him put down, but no rescues near me have space and the animal shelter says they will put him down since he has bitten children. This is my last resort to saving this beautiful guys life. The vet and trainer feel that he is this way due to being taken away from his mother and her not providing the needed guidence that most moms provide when a puppy. He is a beautiful Blue Great Dane abd Blue Mastiff mix. Both parents were full blood. Lincoln is 8 months as of August 26th. He is hovering around 50 lbs now. He looks skinny all of a sudden, so he is about to hit another growth spurt. Dad at 3 years old is 180lb and mom at 2.5 years old is 120lb. So Lincoln will be an extremly large dog.
