About Leggs

Adoption Fee: $175
Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

I got the legs and I know how to use 'em! It's me, Leggs! My foster mom found me running around a busy road. She put the word out that I was found, but no one came forward to claim me. I know that's sad, but look at it this way-it's great news for you, because now YOU can adopt me! So what's the deal with my unique, unforgettable name? I got legs, I got A LOT of legs. I like to do tricks with them, paw at humans for attention, and I run like a show horse with my legs lifted all fancy-like. My foster family has learned a lot about me since I've come to live with them. I am house broken and non-destructive. That's right, you don't have to bother folding up these sweet, sweet legs into a crate because I won't mess up any of your stuff. I'll just watch ZZ Top music videos while I wait for you to come home from work. I have not been cat-tested yet, but I currently live with three other dogs and I get along great with them. I will hold my own if challenged, so a home without dominant dogs is probably best for me. If you're looking for a companion for your other doggos or a dog who knows how to strut her stuff, ask about me, Leggs! If you'd like to meet me, shake a leg and come on down to the Waynesboro Petsmart on Saturdays between 10 AM and 1 PM. I will be officially available for adoption after August 28th, but you can apply to adopt me online any time before then and get pre-approved! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. For more information and to apply to adopt, please visit www.augustadogadoptions.org If you google our address, you will be directed to Richmond. That is NOT our adoption event location. If you have questions, please message us on Facebook.
