About Belle

MEET BELLE. She is a beautiful yorkie who is 4 years old and weighs 10 lbs. She is being fostered in Leesburg. UPDATED BIO 08/27/2018: Beautiful Belle is finally well. This sweet girl who came to us over a month ago with horrible growths on the inside of both her ears from untreated infections has been cleared by her vet and ready to find her forever home. After a major operation to remove the horrible growths and a month of antibiotics to fight the three infections in her ears, she is feeling so much better. It was thought at first that Belle may end up having to have her total ear canals removed from both ears which would have left her totally deaf, or possibly a different operation to open up the middle ear canals, or maybe even a different operation to remove a little growth on the inside of her left ear just outside of her ear canal. However, Belle did not need any further surgery and her ear canals on both ears are open and according to her vet, just beautiful. Her ear canals are so beautiful it is a sight to bring tears of joy to your eyes. Belle and United Yorkie Rescue are so grateful to everyone who donated to her surgery and who sent healing thoughts and prayers for her recovery. Belle is going to tell you the rest of her story, keep reading �'�|�'�|. Hello Everyone, my name is Belle and I feel so good. For the first time in my short life, I am only 4 years old, I am not in pain any more. I am so happy and so grateful to everyone who took care of me. I went to the vet and she said I am perfect. She even took an x-ray of my trachea because sometime I breathe sort of loud, but she said I am fine and my lungs and heart are great, so it is just something I do. I now play with toys and I have even started to run around a little. I love to go on walks. My foster dad said I am the best leash walker he has ever known. I am a great eater, I like car rides, and I sleep all night in my crate. My foster mom just has to say it's bedtime and I get up and go into my crate. Of course if you let me sleep on your bed, I wouldn't mind that at all. I love people so much. I am pretty sure I would like to be either an only dog or have another small gentle dog to play with. I am starting to play more and more. I now sometimes play with the other dogs in the house. Sometimes when I meet a new dog I will bark and act not so nice, but I stop right away when I see they are not going to hurt me. My foster mom said that's no way to make friends, but I want to be sure they are nice. I like to have people friends and gentle doggie friends. I really don't like the cats too much either, and sometimes I bark at them, but then I ignore them too. I do bark when my foster mom and dad leave the house because I want to go with them wherever they go. I stop after a little while, but I better not go to a condo or an apartment because I can bark pretty loudly. I think I wouldn't like young kids though, just a nice home with some grown up who are home a lot because I was alone too much before and a another doggie friend would be fine too. When you come home you will get the biggest greet from me you ever had. I want grownups who will love me and take care of me forever. I never had that and it what I want most in the whole world. Please consider adopting me. You won't be sorry for one minute. I will give you so much love.
