About Rocky PENDING ADOPTION

This handsome pup is about 8 weeks old in the pictures, but will be about 3 weeks older when he arrives in VT on 8/19. He has fluffy, super soft fur, soulful eyes and adorable areas of brown frosting over his primarily black fur. He was abandoned at a high kill shelter in the south along with 3 siblings. They were adopted quickly and Rocky was left all alone. We offered rescue right away and he was moved into a foster home. Rocky enjoys playing with other dogs, but has not met any cats. He does not appear to have a high prey drive so we think he would be fine with a dog savvy cat. He is crate trained and working on his house breaking skills. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in Rocky's genetic background. Our best guess is that he is a Lab mixed with Golden Retriever and maybe Shepherd. We expect him to reach 55-60 lbs as an adult. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed. Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro- chipping, and health exam.
