About Julius

Earnest and eager, that's Julius, jovial Julius to a 'T'. And since he's known in his foster home as a bit of a 'talker', this fine 54-pound pup would agree. Saved from a high-kill shelter in Kansas, he's understandably shy as he adjusts to his new environment, but he's naturally sweet and extremely lovable. He gets along with the children and cats, loves playing with the other dogs, and is especially gentle with his smaller, furry foster sister. Soaking up affection like a thirsty sponge, he adores being petted, is motivated by love and praise - and biscuits - knows 'sit', and is leash and housetrained. Now Julius would jump for joy if he could find a patient and loving home, possibly with a doggy playmate, eager to boost his confidence, complete his education, and keep him mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.
