About Cindy

Cindy caught our eye as one of the playgroup rock stars at the local shelter, and we just couldn't say no to that cute little face of hers. Cindy has proven friendly with dogs, but she is a little overexcited by our current group, and tends to do better one on one. She needs a play partner who doesn't mind her pushy, exciteable personality, and might just let her be the boss and run the show. Cindy is young, likely around a year old, and is looking for an adopter to guide her and continue some manner teaching. She listens VERY well, and is attentive to her handler. She 'sits' when you ask her to, and is treat motivated. She would likely be a great dog to take to some obedience classes, and maybe even agility someday. She has hung on to some puppy mouthiness, and would benefit from learning different ways to express her excitement. Cindy is a petite girl, at only about 35 pounds. We think she is a pit mix, but possibly mixed with something smaller (Whippet, perhaps?). She has a skinny build and a longer snout. Whatever the mix, she is CUTE. There's no denying that fact.
