About Cookie

A family member of mine has a pit bull he can no longer care for. Each time I go over I see her looking as if she's in pain and loosing so much weight. Seems as if her bones / legs are hurting her and she looks very depressed. I got tired of seeing her like this so I took her to the vet myself! Come to find out she has 'tick-fever' u touch her body and her hair falls off, she had a fever of 104, she was put on antibiotics and the tick meds. When I asked the family member why he hadn't taken her to vet he says he has no money, and can't afford to care for her due to his own medical down fall! I have 3 dogs of my own and can't take her or else I would! She needs to be in a happy home, people who pay attention to her and play with her. She loves to be rubbed, she just wants and craves attention! It breaks my heart to see her like this but I have done all I can to help a dog that isn't mine. I just want to see her happy! She was so happy at the vet today, when I took her back home it hurt me so bad to know I'm leaving her.... please help me. I don't know what to do..
