About Duchess

Darling Duchess is a somewhat shy girl that takes her time to warm up. After about 1/2 hr or so... and plenty of treats, she will open up to become a silly, energetic, affectionate girl. She is almost 2yrs old and weighs about 13lbs. She is a lively girl that loves to be outside exploring all that is around her. She will do best with a person that will take her on lots of walks and outings, and that has plenty of time to help build her confidence. Duchess gets along great with other dogs and would love to have another small easy going playmate, but it is not required. A fenced yard is also preferred but not required. She is fully crate trained and needs just a bit more help with house training. Because Duchess can be an insecure girl, an adult only home would be best. She prefers women, although can bond with a patient, easy going male.
