About Loyd

Darling Loyd is approx 5-6mo old and currently weighs almost 30lbs. He should be about 45lbs or so when full grown. He appears to be a heeler / hound mix, perhaps beagle. Whatever he is, he is very sweet and submissive. He is an insecure boy that needs a gentle, patient person to help him build trust and confidence. He also must have another easy going, playful dog in the home... a medium size dog would be ideal! He is a little insecure when he meets new dogs so his doggy pal will help him build confidence when around other dogs. Loyd loves affection from his person, so lots of cuddling is important, too! Loyd is fully crate and almost completely house trained. The adoption fee includes all first year vaccines, deworming series, microchip and neuter surgery. Because he is a bit insecure, an adult only home with dog experience is best. He must have a fenced backyard and should not be left alone for more than 4-5hr intervals
