About Goldie

Goldie is an extremely shy, dog and cat-friendly, loving, loyal, and beautiful, 11-year-old, 11-pound, fawn female Chihuahua looking for a loving guardian. She came into rescue quite timid with people, however she has no fears with other dogs and cats. She fits into a pack of animals in an amazing manner! She is living in a foster home with other dogs and cats and doing beautifully. With just a little bit of patience and love, Goldie expresses her appreciation with tail wags and happy barks. Her foster parents say it took her a couple weeks to trust them. She's best with the woman of the household and still barks at the husband every single morning, and she shakes a little when new people come over. But, she's not at all aggressive �'�| just shy. Goldie loves to go on walks and gets along with every dog she meets along the way. At the end of the day, she is happy to hang out in her dog bed and LOVES to cuddle. But you have to work up to that. She's not big on being picked up. Goldie is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. She even had a dental cleaning.
