Brinks was rescued from the San Bernardino County Animal Shelter in June 2018. He was in desperate need of a savior because he was moved to the quarantine section of the shelter, away from sight of the public, because the shelter had gotten too full. When we first rescued Brinks, he was very malnourished and needed to gain 20 pounds. Because of his malnourishment, he was very wobbly on his back legs and would often times fall over. After being in our care, Brinks has gained weight and can walk, run, and play like the happy dog that he is! We have never met a more grateful and happy dog who is constantly smiling and wagging his tail. Brinks gets along with people, kids, small dogs, and big dogs, and is crate trained, house broken, and knows basic commands. Brinks bonds very strongly to his person and would do best in a home where he will have the companionship of people or of another dog. Although Brinks is older and does not need much exercise, he is very adventurous and loves to be taken places or have the ability to explore a backyard at his leisure.
