About Paulie

Paulie is a sweet little guy who is eager to please. Though he is sweet and submissive with our family (including my 3 children), he is less predictable with outside people and dogs. He does not respond well to people in and out of your home, and would do best in a quieter, more predictable household. We have 2 other dogs and he gets along well with them. He can be reactive on the leash, but responds well to correction. He has been boarded on numerous occasions and displays none of this behavior there. While there, he plays with other dogs, is not aggressive in any way towards people there. Paulie could do well in a different setting, one with less stimulation, possibly no children. An adopter who is familiar with this breed and can commit to being consistent with him would be ideal. If you're a Chihuahua lover and understand that sometimes they think they need to guard 'their people' and are knowledgable in how to correct this behavior, Paulie will be a sweet, lovable, eager to please companion. He is housebroken, knows how to sit, stay, and 'go to his place'. He loves to go for walks and roll on his back to have his belly rubbed.
