Hello there! My name is Melanie, and I'm a sweet, quiet, and reserved petite slate gray DSH gal with white tuxedo markings and big green eyes who was born about June 2011. As you can see from the attached video, I solicit affection, head scratches, and tummy rubs from my foster mom when she comes to visit me in the foster cat room. I was rescued from an apartment parking lot the day before I gave birth to my three kittens, Bow, Arrow, and Feather. I was an excellent mama, and now that they are weaned, we all need our forever homes. I'm uncomfortable with new people, other animals, and new places, so it took me a while to get adjusted to my foster home, but now I get along great with the other kitties in the foster room. I still don't like noise because it startles me, so I probably would not be good in a home with rambunctious young children, although well-behaved older children should be fine.
