About Finch

Finch is part of 24 dogs we rescued from a puppy mill this summer. He is 7 yrs old and weighs 7.2 lbs. Finch is a inquisitive and friendly little guy who is learning that people are not so scary and that being petted and held is wonderful! Finch has been neutered and had his teeth cleaned as they were really infected but there weren't many and he has no teeth left. He is learning to walk on a leash, to come when called and that he even has a name! He is good with dogs, cats and older children. We are not sure if he is housetrained, but he knows what piddle pads are. These dogs lived in a 6x6 box their entire lives and never got to interact with people or go anywhere. It is a wonder he is so friendly and wants to TRUST so badly! Consider these dogs like you would a puppy, as they have a lot to learn...it is like they were just born!
