About Briggs

Briggs is a handsome 11 month old German Shepherd mix that weighs 45 pounds now and with a promise of 60 by the time he is about 3 years old. This handsome, carefree, happy dog Did not have the good fortune to have dedicated owners this past year of his life. His original family moved away and simply left him tied up in their backyard with no food or water. The neighbor watched from afar day after day to see if the owners would come back for him. She fed him and gave him water. Noone came and sadly the reality hit that this handsome And sweet dog was now abandoned and homeless. Critter Cavalry Rescue was contacted and we have taken him under our wing and fully vetted him and have him ready for a new Chapter of love and dedication promised to him from a new and better family. He is a smart dog that loves children, people, other dogs and even likes the cats at his foster home. He is pretty much housebroken and will be crate trained until he is adopted. Briggs is a little thin right now but that will all change over the next few weeks as he gets better food And indoor care with his foster family.
