About Olive

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Olive is a very sweet dog. She is great around my two young children ages 2 and infant. She loves to cuddle and loves sun bathing outside. Olive is 10years old and with 2 young children at home it is becoming difficult to care for her. She has a leaky bladder and has peed in her bed on ocassion. We keep her in our mud room over night. Her accidents are not very frequent and she seems to only pee in her bed a couple times a year. If this were her only issue we wouldn't be looking for a new home. Since she was born she has had skin allergies and outbreaks that require constant trips to the vet and medication. She is on Aboquel daily to minimize itching and prevent outbreaks but 2-3 times a year she has an outbreak that requires additional medication. Frequent baths also help keep her skin healthy. But with 2 small children we cannot bath her as often as she probably needs (twice a week). We can no longer afford the skin medication and are sad that she is confined to the mud room most of the time. We are considering having her put down but wanted to see if someone might have a home for her. She is a very good dog, listens well, lounges around the house and outside mostly...very calm and just loves being aroun people and cuddles.
