My name is Kobe, and if you are looking for a baller buddy, I am the handsome fellow for you! Even though I don't play basketball like my namesake, I am a champion in many ways: champion snuggler, champion athlete, champion best furry friend! I am a 1.8-year-old border collie mix, and best of all I am available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation! I am about 45 pounds of love and fun, and I am dressed to party with my luxurious black and white tuxedo fur! Some might point out that my uniquely awesome polka dot-pattern paws are my best physical feature, but I think it is my huge smile and love-filled eyes that demonstrate my happy-go-lucky and affectionate personality! Fetching Tails saved me from a shelter in southern Illinois where I was brought as a stray. I waited patiently for someone to notice me there, and I hit the jackpot when my foster daddy saw my picture and said yes to giving me my big break! I am having the best time in my foster home, and I hear it gets even better when I finally find my forever family! I am an active, playful guy and would love a fenced yard at my forever home so I can romp and run to burn my collie energy. I am also a good jogging buddy if you are looking for a companion to help you work on your fitness; I am always so happy to go on a run with my foster daddy! I get along with dogs of all sizes and ages, and even kitty cats, so I would be a good addition if you already have a furry friend. I love making new friends, whether furry or not: I adore kiddos and if I am being honest, my absolute favorite activity of all is being my person's side. Nothing makes me happier than getting a belly rub and curling up next to you for some quality cuddles. Have you fallen in love with me yet? It gets better! I have excellent house manners, as well. I am potty trained and crate trained, even though I don't need to be because I don't get into mischief while my foster family is away from the house taking care of that human business they call work. I am lucky because there is often someone home with me in my foster home, but I am fine being home alone for around 5-6 hours.
