About Chia

Say hi to charming little Chia. She is a 10 year old Chihuahua who weighs almost 7 pounds. She was surrendered to us by her owner whose living arrangements changed and was no longer able to keep her. Losing a family is really hard on senior dogs. Yet, despite being separated from everything she has ever known, she is the sweetest and most loving little girl you will find. Chia loves to cuddle and is always ready to give kisses. She likes to be close to her person. She is content to snooze nearby as you go about your day and snuggle up close when you go to bed. She loves just about everybody she has met so far whether people, dogs or cats, but she has shown a distrust of men in a one on one situation. We only have one example of this but it needs to be considered as a possible issue if there are men in your home. She has not been tested with children. Chia is heartworm negative and up to date on all her shots. She is housebroken and will go outside to potty or use a training pad when inside. She does need her teeth cleaned and this has already been scheduled. The procedure is included in her adoption fee. Do you have room in your heart for this little girl? She doesn't need a big space but if you say yes, she will reward you with more love than your heart can hold.
