About Jonah & Demi

Purebred Shih Tzu dogs. 10 years old. Weight: perfect (not overweight) Shots: current Purebred paperwork: included Location: Amherst, VA These dogs love to sit in laps and be a part of a slow-paced life. We have had them since they were puppies and they are named Jonah and Demi. They nap frequently and have mild personalities. We never fed them people food and have managed weight and activity well. Dogs are very healthy and should live another 7-10 years. Jonah lost one eye 6 years ago, but has maintained a fun-loving lifestyle and both are perfectly healthy. He loves to run and play with Demi, and Demi is quite accomplished at fetch. They are trained with an underground fence, and two electric collars are included. We also can include a wireless fence transmitter that creates a dome around your yard up to 90 feet in diameter. They are both used to a natural dry dog food (Fromm) and the remainder of a large bag will also be included. Jonah had a skin allergy for a few weeks two years ago which cleared up as soon as we put him on the Fromm food. We purchase it from PetFlow.com. Our family is simply growing and have quite a few little ones around all the time. Our family is a bit too active for Jonah and Demi. They have been great, but their patience for babies and toddlers is starting to thin. They both get anxious with our kids, especially the little ones. We are hoping to find a home preferably without babies or toddlers where they can be lap dogs, watch tv, travel, and just enjoy being with the new owners. If that means playing hard and then napping all day...or just riding with you in car all day...they know how to love. Also, both dogs are used to sleeping with people. They have been with our older kids ever since we got them. We love these two, but our home is causing them too much anxiety. Dogs must stay together. They are a brother and sister pair.
