About Finn

Meet Finn. He is an adorable 6 yr old Maltese who weighs 8 pounds. This handsome boy came to the rescue from a breeder situation so he hasn't had the chance to be around people in a normal dog situation and will need time to learn trust. Finn is a very sweet and very shy little boy. He does get along with other dogs but has not been tested with cats. He will require a home with a fenced yard and no small children due to his shyness. Finn will require patience and love from his furever family. You may not be able to pick him up straight away and love on him until he has settled in and trusts you. He needs a family that is willing to take the time to teach him what a family is and give him his own space as he figures that out. Finn has never been on a leash before so will need a little time will learn. In our experience this usually takes a couple of days getting used to the feel of the leash. Finn is proving to be a very smart little boy!! He does great about going potty outside and once he's comfortable in his home he will bark at the door to let you know he needs to go out. He is heartworm negative, up to date on shots and microchipped. He has an upcoming appointment for neuter which is included in his adoption fee. Finn has begun to sleep in the bed with his people and furfriends and he absolutely loves treats!!! All Finn is waiting for is that special person.
