About Miles

Meet Miles. Miles is a 3 years old shih tzu mix. He came to us from a local shelter. Miles needs a home with one other quiet dog or no dogs. He does not like active dogs in the least. He really loves to sit on the porch swing and just enjoy life (at a slow, peaceful rate). Miles needs a very patient owner. We are unsure of his past but we do know he seems heartbroken and struggles with PTSD. He was severely matted when he arrived at the shelter we took him from and had to be sedated to shave him. Miles needs to build his trust in his new owners, and his owners need to understand it may take him time and won't rush him. No small kids. He would do okay around older children who are calm and nurturing. Interested in this dog/cat?
