About Sonny

Sonny is a 10 year old poodle who is looking for the perfect forever home! Sonny came to the rescue as a stray. When he was found, he was badly overgrown and his coat was completely matted. His finder helped to clean up his hair a bit so he could see and looked a little less rough, but Sonny was still in need of a spa day. Thanks to A Hairy Situatuion Grooming, Sonny got a summer hair cut and now looks and feels like a brand new man! Sonny also badly needed some dental work, so he saw our vet for a dental cleaning and had 28 extractions. With a fresh hair cut and a brand new smile, its now Sonny's time to find the perfect forever home. Sonny is hypoallergenic and will need regular professional grooming in his new home. Sonny is a happy and outgoing boy at 10 years young, and just loves to be around his people. He appears to be house broken, but may need a bit of adjustment time and patience entering a new home. Sonny is a very friendly boy who would love a home with another gentle dog or children who are dog savvy. He weighs 17 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, licensed and vet checked. His adoption fee is $160. His adoption includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for location on the weekends as we have off site adoption events some of our dogs attend.
