About Levi M

Look at this precious boy! Levi is a 5 year old Chihuahua who weighs about 7 pounds. He is an owner surrender that came into our rescue. Once we gave him a bath and got rid of all those fleas, we clipped his long nails and gave him some good food. He cried for two days and was very sad. In just a short time Levi is settling in and continues to warm up to his foster family. He doesn't seem to be much of a lap dog yet. He prefers to lie on the back of a chair and look outside. He does like to give kisses, though. Levi is doing great on his housebreaking skills. He is good with the other dogs in his foster home, but doesn't play much with them or with toys. We're not sure how he is with children, but have no reason to believe he won't do just fine. We do not know how he is with cats. Levi does great on a leash. He likes to chase squirrels and would really like a fenced yard. He tried the big bed, but is more comfortable sleeping in his kennel - obviously, since we often see him asleep on his back with all four paws in the air! He is heartworm negative and microchipped.
